This weeks 'The crazy challenge blog' guest DT card.

Here is a guest DT card I made for this weeks challenge 'New' for The Crazy Challenge blog.

The sponsor this week is The stamping boutique and I used a gorgeous digital stamp from them as the main image on my new baby card.

I coloured the digital stamp with my spectrum noir alcohol marker pens and a copic clear glitter pen. I used a piece of pearlescent linen effect cardstock from Kars, some satin edged ribbon, stick on gems and a loverly little sentiment. The sentiment was also coloured with my spectrum noir pens.

Please hop over to the challenge blog and enter the challenge if you like. The DT have done some inspirational cards as always.

My latest commissioned card.

Here is my latest commissioned card. Commissioned by a local friend, Lorna.

The camera doesn't pick up the dark purple of the card candi, on the numbers, the inside lettering, or the highlighted area of Lottie that I used a glitter pen on very well at all but Lorna has seen the photo's and loves it and has given me permission to share the card.

I just have an envelobox to make for it and then it will go to Lorna who ordered it.

The last couple of days I have been to hectic to craft thanks to hospital appts and GP appts. But on thursday before I went to my 6hr respiratory appt my new Hougie board and project book arrived direct from the loverly Kay Rutter at Hougie crafts.

Today I have been working on a guest DT spot card that I will upload monday afternoon once the challenge it is for is live. I have also been working on a comissioned card for a 92nd birthday card which is needed for November. It is nearly done and I promise to upload it as soon as I can.

I also got a loverly delivery of card candi from Joanna Sheen Ltd that I ordered at noon yesterday this morning. Delivered in under 24hrs - thanks to all at Sheenie towers and Royal mail for the prompt delivery.

Summer fun round easel card.

Here is an easel card I have made to cover the following two blog challenges.

1) Just Magnolia - 'Holiday fun' challenge
2) Totally Gorjuss - 'Round and round' challenge

I hope you like the card.

Pinflair competition winner.

I have used pinflair products ever since I started crafting. And via the Pinflair website I found the loverly and friendly Pinflair forum.

Every now and again there is a competion run on the forum for regular members. I entered two cards into  the recent 'Pinflairs floral competition'.

The cards are voted on by the members and the most popular one wins, or if a draw Christine (princess pinflair) picks a winner.

Well "I WON" the recent competition on the votes. We had to use a downloaded decoupage sheet (didn't have to use it all just whatever we wanted to use) and could do whatever we wanted to do with it.

There were some great cards and thankyou to every entrant for making it such a great competition.

And now here is my winning card.

And would publically like to thank Princess Pinflair (Christine) for sponsoring the competition, and Prince Pinflair (Antony) for running the competition.

The loverly Christine had put £30 worth of Pinflair goodies up as the prize which I cant wait to receive and play with as I love Pinflair products.

Am so chuffed that people voted for my card to win.
Thankyou everyone who voted and took part.

Friday 5 August 2011

Spectrum playtime again.

Been playing with the spectrum noir pens and my stamps again.

How do you store your unmounted stamps ?

The question of stamp storage arose on a facebook group I use today and I thought I would share my stamp storage. The ladies on a craft forum I use gave me the idea but what I do is this:

1) stamp the set of images onto white copier paper
2) laminate each sheet of images
3) spray the back of the stamps with crafters companion repositionable glue spray "Stick and spray" or attach to ez-foam if the stamp needs it
4) place the stamp sets on their matching image on their given laminated sheets
5) store them with their accompanying leaflet or packet front (if they have guide images on) in A4 polypockets
6) place said polypockets into a lever arch folder or ring binder

Here are the photo's of my unmounted stamp storage.
