GraphITs and their NEW Brush Nibs

 

I am well and truely addicted to the new graphIT pens and their replaceable brushtip nibs are ACE. I now have the FULL collection of pens that are out at the moment and about 25% of them have brush nibs instead of the broad nibs.

This shows my graphIT collection in pride of place on my crafty desk - have stacked to one side my promarkers/flexmarkers/Ciao collections, so that I can have more room to work.

1st Page in Dylusions Creative Journal is now done and the newness broken good and proper. NO EXPERT but for first try think it turned out OK.

Early Birthday Stashie Delivery

Well in a few wks its my 38th birthday and I've had a mega stash delivery as early birthday present.

I've also been busy making cards to send to family members and here is the latest one which went to my 22yr old nephew.

This was coloured with my new obsession "GraphIT markers" - the best markers I've ever used and I've got alot of pens.

 



Challenge Entry - September

Over at the Visible Image blog the challenge is "All about the Sentiment" and I have made the following card as an entry. I used 2x Visible image stamps - sentiment and butterfly.

 

Also entering it into the "BUTTERFLIES" challenge over on the Imagination crafts challenge blog x

Pan Pastel - Anything Goes

Well I decided to play with my brand new metallic pan pastels and I took some of the bronze and copper colour pastel and mixed it into glossy gel medium to make my own paint. After gesso-ing my frame I stamped and heat embossed some texture/sentiment/tree from one of the "Sam Poole designed Stamp sheets". I then took the homemade paint and slapped it all over the frame, I then dried it briefly with heat gun and the results are below. This was my FIRST play with my new metallic pan pastels and have deicded I will enter my make into the "ANYTHING GOES Challenge" over on the pan pastel blog.

 

 

GraphIT pens n Stashie Delivery

I've fallen in love with GraphIT markers, as you can tell not many to get now lol

 

But look at my latest Stashie delivery - LOTS of pan pastels came to live with me alongside MORE Kaisercraft pads BUT the metallic pan pastels are a must have for pastel lovers !!

I think I am a CRAFT ADDICT with no doubt but hey ho I LOVE CRAFTING !!



Saturated Canary Challenge Entry

Over on the Saturated Canary blog the current challenge is a "Colouring technique" either: dotted background, cloudy background or faint line technique.

I decided to play along with the challenge and made the following card - sorry the glossy accents wasnt quite dry on photo but couldnt wait to share the card as am quite pleased with it, despite it being simple I actually really like it.

Tiddly Inks Challenge Card - Back To School

Over at the Tiddly Inks challenge blog the current challenge is: Back To School and after a rough tme with my own health and my mum also being rushed into hospital ill (Now home), I decided I needed a distraction so set about making a card for the challenge using the loverly diggie: Stand Out In The Crowd which I though was perfect.

Now normally I would have said I used my promarkers but I am also playing with some GORGEOUS new pens called "GraphIT Markers" INFO HERE which are also an alcohol marker but are really nice pens and I am loving them and their differences to other pens.

Any of my crafty/arty friends as bad as me for getting STASH deliveries and thinking oooppppssss where am I going to put that and this lol

Yes I got another stashie delivery due today including my first ever 96x GraphIT markers pens - yes I am going to be giving them a good hammering and trying them out to see if I wanta add the full set to my pen addict  stash lol

I used both Edward Character stamp and the the freebie stamps off "Craft Stamper" magazine on the topper I created for this card.

I used both Bronte Border and the DREAM part off of the set Imagine Dream Inspire on the topper I created for this card. I also used my Inkadinkado stamping gear to creat the background paper.

Apologies for the AWOL

Following a recent hospital admission for my stroppy lungs crafting hasnt't happened alot so apologies for crafting being AWOL but it will be back to normal asap as card orders are awaiting me.

Tiddly Inks Card - Entry into the DT Call

 

Over on the Tiddly Inks Blog they are having a DT call for new design team members which is open throughout July 2013.

To enter you have to produce a card using your favourite diggie/stamp - I had a mega hard time chosing but decided to use Be My Sunshine which has to be a cutest image ever for me.

I colour my images with a mixture of promarkers and flexmarkers as I am a Letraset addict just as much as I am a Tiddly Inks fan. Hope you like the card folks, and best of luck to everyone entering and remember you CAN do more than one card it you want too but it isnt't a requirement.

Paperclay playtime

This is me playing with a Wilton mould and a NEW Martha stewart mould set and DELIGHT paperclay - the stuff is ACE and lussssssssssssssssssssh xXx

 

 

 

 

 

Found out after playing coulda dyed the paperclay with waterbased paints too but these can be painted or coloured as want anyway - they are surprisingingly flexible too even though now dry xXx

GOODIES delivery galore

MEGA Stash delivery here - happy dancing inside (pain n lungs say not to do it outside) but who wouldnt be HAPPY with this :)

 

 

Aly's Inky Fingers - 4pm on Create and Craft

Here is a sneaky peak at one the NEW sets of stamps on the Aly's Inky Fingers Show on create and craft at 4pm today (27th July). Due to my mum being in hospital I only managed to play with one outta 2x sets I got sent but the stamps are lush.

Latest card make is for my MUM's special birthday TODAY.

 

Getting Organised and NEWS

Beads beads n more beads have arrived since starting to do little charms with my cards. Thought it time to sort them out before MORE arrive.

Then I swapped some special cards with a friend for handmade beads.
 

 

 

MORE news though - been asked to do MORE TV samples for a show on CnC towards end of June - if it comes off will give more details later.
