Quick Update.

Sorry for no card makes this last week or blog posts but sadly on Friday we had to have Toby the border collie put to sleep as he was in end stage heart failure. It broke our hearts but we chose to do what was right for him and came away from the PDSA knowing he was not suffering anymore.

RIP Toby - 1st Jan 2000 to 27th Jan 2012. You were the bestest border collie ever little man.

RIP Toby - 1st Jan 2000 to 27th Jan 2012.

We both (me and mum) knew the saturday (day after) that IF the right dog came along we would rehome it. This is a dog house through and through.

On the sunday I posted on Facebook asking for people keep an ear out for a suitable dog and a local lady arranged for us to meet a "Collie-cross crossed with rottie" bitch 12mths old that needed rehoming urgently.

Well we met at the ladys house with the dog "Tia" and her owner and the local lady who helped get us together. Well bless her Tia took to mum and me straight away and am afraid she came home with us there and then.

She is ruling the roost and relishing her freedom and new home even though we have alot of training to do she is settling brilliantly.

Please welcome Tia to our family.

Playing with "Cally" the Calibur.

Here are 2 quick cards I made while playing and getting used to my new grand calibur and moroccan dies. I've never used fancy dies like these so the cards arent brilliant.

Green Humphrey Pop-up Card.

Have stamped and used one of my fave Humphreys corner stamps and sentiment using memento ink/promarkers. I then used my Hougie board and the "Everyone needs a Hougie book 1" to make the pop-up card base. Hope it looks ok as it is one of my first times decorating one of these.

Monochrome Challenge Entry.

Over on the "Crafty Bloggers Network" challenge blog this week the challenge is 'Monochrome'.

This card is my entry to the challenge and is actually my first monochrome card. Apologies that photo is slightly blurry but my camera didn't like all the shiny-ness on the card.

Crafting Area.

I don't have alot of room to craft in but make full use of what I do. Below are some pictures of how/where I craft.

Craft desk.
Just to the left off the desk is my promarker and flex-marker colour charts. Just to the left of them (not pictured) is where I keep my Hougie board and X-cut shape cutters hung on a large hook.

Ribbon box + Cards storage.

Printer (buried beneath dogs meds).
My crafting area is part of my living-room. Due to disabling serious health issues I live with my  ill older mother and a mad and poorly 12yr old border collie called Toby.

Toby - 12yrs old.

I try to make use of everything I have for crafting. Just recently I have arranged to sell my very rarely used Cricut E2 to a crafting friend and it will be going to its new home in 4wks. I just wasn't able to make it fit my way of crafting and will be getting a grand calibur with the proceeds of selling it. Better it goes to a home it will be used than taking up space I didn't have.

So thats is how and where I craft. Thanks for looking.

Pink Girl Card.

Here is a card I did for a little daily challenge thats run for fun on a Facebook group I use. I ended up being picked as the winner but due to a wording error on the challenge was then awarded joint winner. I hate using pink to craft with but think the cards turned out great and fullfilled the challenge theme of "For a little girl who likes pink". Pleased with the results after spending hours on the challenge entry.

Something Out of My Confort Zone.

Two cards that are a little out of my comfort zone but I loved doing. I even got messy on one and people who know me will know how unusual that actually is.

Quick Diggie Stamp Card.

Here is a quick card I made from a gorgeous 'Mo Manning' digital stamp called "Heartless" which I coloured with my promarkers & flex-markers. For the embossed background I used a Darice embossing folder and cuttlebug and some core'dinations cardstock. I also coloured a wide satin ribbon to match the image. Enjoy.

An LOTV Challenge Card.

Here is a card I have made for my entry into this weeks challenge over at: Lili's Little Fairies LOTV Thursday Challenge and the challenge theme was to use "My favourite LOTV stamp". It was extremely hard for me to choose but I chose the following image stamp (the sentiment is LOTV stamp too). I coloured the image with my promarkers. It is an easel card but the flap goes 'UP' the back of the topper not down towards the card. Enjoy.

200th Card.

I have only been crafting since March 2011. The following card is my 200th card. I kept the design simple to let the image show itself off. The image is an LOTV stamp coloured with my promarkers (my faithfull friends).

Thankyou Card.

Here is a thankyou card I have made today. I coloured the toppers last night with my promarkers while on the phone to a friend. Finally made the card this afternoon after a fight with dies, cuttlebug and embossing folders. Enjoy.

Simple and Quick Card.

Here is a simple and quick card I made this evening. Not much else I can say about it bar the image and sentiment are LOTV stamps. Enjoy.

Blue/Pink Pastel Card.

Here is a pastel pink and blue "Gorjuss girl" stamped image card I have made this morning. The sentiments are SWALK sentiments. Tried to keep the colours simple as well as the card itself. Coloured the stamp with my ever faithfull promarkers and flex-markers as they never let me down. Thanks for looking at my blog.

Bright Red and Orange Card.

Well the card speaks for itself I think. Made with another gorgeous "Mo Manning" digital stamp that I coloured with promarkers.

A Simple Red Birthday Card.

Here is a card I made from a stamped Magnolia image coloured in with my promarkers/flex-markers. The loverly backing card was a present from a great friend in Australia who knows who she is. Hope you like this simple card.

Peachy Card.

A peachy coloured themed card I have made tonight. This was inspired by my mum who's fave colours are orange and brown.

Card made using a "Mo Manning" diggie stamp which I colored with promarkers & flex-markers, core'dinations cardstock embossed via cuttlebug and sanded back, copped mirror card and copper coloured card candi.

Red and Green "Just Because" Card.

I've had the dreaded sickness bug but after an on-call GP gave me an antisickness injection which worked well I decided to craft to take my mind off how I felt (rough rough rough lol).

Here is the card I made - hope folks like it ??

The image is a Mo Manning digital stamp called "Bite" that I coloured with promarkers and flex-markers.
